Sorting and Grouping
WALT: Sort objects and shapes in different ways
Look! I sorted these shapes by myself. All my shapes are in the same colours and size.
I'm a shape grouping expert. I sorted these shapes with blocks.
I used the flat figure to help me put the blocks in the right table.
I found all the correct shapes. I used the drawing to help me.
I filled my table up with different shapes! It was super easy.

THE LIFE CYCLE OF A BUTTERFLY
WALT: List the stages of the cycle through the use of role play
The first stages of a butterfly- I am an egg, waiting to be hatched.
We are hungry caterpillars! Crawling to look for juicy and yummy FOOD!!! πππ
"We made a chrysalis. Eating for 15 days made us really tired. It is time for us to rest now"
Last stage of a butterfly cycle- We broke out of our chrysalis! Wai Maori butterflies, it is time to spread our big wings
